This may take a little extra work but it is well worth it! For a more kid-friendly version I half the peppers and onions and only add it to half the pizza! For a healthier version use reduced fat crescent rolls, cheese, milk and turkey bacon. — posted by Angela Iacofano

I’ve tried many different pizza dough recipe’s and none of them give me a dough ball that I can toss and stretch like what you can buy in the store (or what I was used to when I worked at Papa Gino’s). I like my pizza dough thin, but not crunchy.
Mmmmmm! I picked up some dates at Trader Joe’s yesterday and thought they’d be really good on a pizza, so this is what I’m going to use them for this Pizza Friday. This is a recipe I came up with to use up leftover BBQ pulled pork. It was such a hit with my boys that I thought I would post it. The recipe as written uses a loaf of Rhodes bread dough as the pizza crust, but I’m sure you could use any crust of your choice, just follow the cooking instructions for that crust.
