This is a very versatile “white” pizza in which you can use whatever vegetables and/or cheese you like. I used broccoli, red pepper, tomato and mushrooms topped with an Italian cheese blend of mozzarella, provolone and parmesan and it was as good, if not better, than anything that we pick up at the pizzeria! — posted by Irmgard
I made this one night for dinner as my daughter loves Italian. So far I had just tried pasta and wanted to give her more at home Italian options and also have some veggies included
The original recipe is in the Parragon Comfort Foods cookbook, and I altered it to make it vegetarian and also for simplicity and to work with what I had on hand. I don’t usually keep Great Northern beans around, but I sure love cannellini and it served up beautifully in this vegan soup. Now us vegetarians don’t have to miss out on a delicious Italian comfort classic! — posted by the80srule
Impress your friends and family by cooking them this traditional Italian dish (just don’t tell them it’s really easy!). If you want even more taste and texture, roast a few extra cherry tomatoes on the vine and serve whole on top of the pasta. — posted by English_Rose
Made with fresh rosemary, this is a colourful Italian dish. — posted by English_Rose
